A Crymson Life

purple22

This is the newest bouquet.  It’s a fun arrangement and each flower is a different shade of purple.  The name, purple22, comes from an old password I used to use ages ago.  I was in a crunch for a name and that’s what came to me.  I guess I’m not that creative when it comes to names.  All the flowers are one’s I’ve had on hand for a while.  The smaller two bright fuschia flowers were originally going to be used for centerpieces for my reception.  The lily was made a long while ago.  The lily is really cool, b/c the center beads are actually clear with purple stripes on them.  It gives the petals a very shiny look.  The other two flowers I just made here and there.
I really love putting the colors together.  A lot of times I’ll just make a huge stock of random flowers, then sit down one day and arrange different flowers together and see what works.  These four really work well.  I’m happy with them.

I can easily understand why you are happy with it. You have every reason to be!!! I love the colours of that lily! The center beads of each petal make the lily look verrrrry elegant!!! The pure lilac one is a funny flower. If you make it bigger and green it can be a palm. wink
What did you use for the background on the photo. It looks great. And I love the name. So, I guess you were 22 when you came up with the password? wink

haha, I never thought about it but that flower could be a palm!  Now you’ve got me thinking palms again.  =0)
The background is a light gray piece of fabric.  I wanted to use something consistant.
I’m not sure if I was 22 or not with I came up with that.  I could have been, it has been a while tongue wink

So which online services and/or old email accounts of yours can I now login to?

I can’t remember, but I don’t use it anymore.  It was probably the password to sign into my organic chemistry online quizes or something.  Have fun hacking into that!
