punkins

Here are this year’s pumpkins.  We got them a few weeks ago but waited until this week to carve.  We cleaned them out and will be eating pumpkin seeds all week. I carved the spider and Chris carved the monster.  These will be out in yard along with a few other decorations for Halloween night and trick or treating. 
While carving we watched Donnie Darko.  Not really a scary movie, it’s more dark than scary.  But it’s one of the best time travel flicks out there, and also has Jake Gyllenhaal before he became a huge house hold name.  He’s a great actor.  This gets 3.5 out of 4 crazy bunny costumes.
