i bought art!

Last night I spent the evening at ladies night at the art guild.  It’s a fund raiser they have once a year where we go do something crafty and they supply wine and nibbley foods.  It’s fun and gets me out of the house in winter.  At the end of the event they open up the guild store where they sell original art.  Last year I bought a print that is now hanging in the bead room.  This year I bought this awesome wine glass.  I love it!  It’s so fun.  It was hard to decide which glass to get.  I’m a little bummed I didn’t get the artist card with the piece.  I’m going back to the guild tomorrow for panel they are having.  They are having a series of panels where they have established artists come in and talk about different areas of becoming an artist.  Like displaying your pieces or finding the appropriate venue.  It sounds really interesting so I’m excited to check that out.
Now I’m off to cook a fancy steak dinner and drink wine from my new piece of art.
