Dzogchen Zen Metal

You may or may not know that Chris is the musical mind of our family. He has a little studio area in the house where he goes to play one of his 3 guitars, a bass, recording equipment, and an old computer that keeps everything saved. He’s been writing his own music since before we met, playing with different sounds and effects with the guitars. Dzogchen (zo jen) was founded about a year ago when he discovered a new sound that not just intrigued him but also my non-musically influenced mind.

It’s put into genre of Zen Metal, it definitely has Chris’s metal influences but is more complicated than that. A layering of complex sounds to merge together to form interesting and even peaceful music. Non metal fans should still sneak a peak and take a listen because dzogchen is not the typical yelling heavy metal that you might think of. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
