I’ve never attempted a self portrait before, at least not w/ the intention of it being a self portrait. I had a feeling it wouldn’t be as easy as it sounds, but since photofriday is a challenge I thought I’d try. This is from my latest roll of Holga film and was lightened up a bit in photoshop. I was attempting to be suave, apparently my suave equals a scowl.

I know this face!! I don’t think of it as a scowl or suave. More of a curious but hesitant look.

It’s so difficult to “simulate” a certain look when you know you are getting photographed. I think your expression looks a little bit shrewd. Hope this word does not have a bad connotation. :D You look as if you had a certain plan and just thinking about how to implement it ...
