photofriday metal

For a while now Chris has been wanting to begin working with metal.  He’s mentioned it on and off for a year now.  This summer we bought a bunch of sheet copper and he’s been having fun cutting and sculpting the copper.  Copper is a prefered metal to me.  I love all the different looks you can achieve with it.  Here is my first digital photo submission to photofriday.  It’s copper in a torch flame being oxidized to achieve different rainbow effects.  I always forget how fun it is to torch up some copper, until you finally do it again.
