A Crymson Life

Mackinaw Valley Vineyard Art and Wine Festival

It’s official, I’ve sent in all the paperwork.  I’ll be participating in the first annual Mackinaw Valley Vineyard Art and Wine Festival.  I’m really excited, and surprisingly not nervous.  At least not yet.  I think it’ll hit me hard after I get back from California.  That’s when I’ll have less than two weeks to make sure I’m ready.  I feel ready though.  I know what I want and what I need to get done.  What doesn’t get done it won’t be the end of the world and what does will be great!  I spent most of the weekend beading up a storm.  Which means I’ll have new pics to show soon.  Here is their press release.  Should be an excellent time even if you don’t come for the art!

Mackinaw Valley Vineyard Art and Wine Festival
Sunday July 12, 2009
Noon to 6pm

We’re pleased to announce the First Annual Art & Wine Festival to be held Sunday July 12 from Noon to 6pm. Artists have been included as a part of our festivals through the years but in response to their requests we are hosting a fair just for the arts community.  We’ve invited local artisans to show off their talents and sell their art. The artists invited specialize in ceramics, glass, wood, metal work, jewelry, oil painting and fiber. Live music will be performed throughout the day and wine tasting will be available as well in our tasting room and new deck bar area. Admission is free. Check http://www.mackinawvalleyvineyard.com or call 309-359-WINE for details and other events.
