A Crymson Life

feeling good

I haven’t had time to take pictures yet. But things are looking good for the show. I’ve completed my stock and I feel good about it. And I feel good about not just for the festival but for me. All the flowers I had in a pile to be mounted into wall flowers have now been completed. That pile has been sitting there since Feb/March. I have a pile of stuff to be packed into cars Saturday morning. And friends lined up to help out. The only things left to do are finishing touches. Hem up some table cloths. And then dust/tag/organize my bouquets and centerpieces. I have all night tonight and all day tomorrow so I think all will work out great.

I’ve even had time to think about the next project. I’ve been in the mood for collage, and I have a couple fun ideas to play with. I’m excited to work on them. They are small fun projects which will be perfect. Next week will be full of photos. I pick up my Holga pics tonight. So next week I’ll have lots of scanning and photo prepping to do. Then I really want to stain and seal the deck. We got it power-washed last week. It’ll feel good to have that project finished up. And finally both Chris and I are ready for vacation. I know I just got back, but we’d been planning a together vaca for the end of August. I think we might be upping it to mid August, and might even change the destination to a relaxing beach vacation. We’ll see what happens.
