update photos and life

Life has been busy the last couple of weeks. We spent some time over the last couple weeks with family and helping out in Chicago which really hasn’t left much room for doing anything else. This week we are home but leaving Thursday for vacation. This year we chose a more laid back vacation, as opposed to a second two week road trip west. I do very much miss our road trip and am already looking forward to another, right now our plan of a week on the beach of Lake Michigan sounds glorious. We booked a room on the water, are walking distance to the beach and town. I can’t wait to just relax on a beach…..and take pics w/ my holga!

What has been new with photos is that I’ve finally uploaded California Holga pics to Crymson Eye. Most people probably have already noticed since you can see recent uploads to this flickr account in my cool new footer. I have some neat ones in there. It was really hard to capture the redwoods b/c they were so huge!

I haven’t taken any holgas since the Peoria photo walk but I plan to change that next week in Michigan. I am thrilled to tell that I was choosen as the Peoria representative for the Kelby International photowalk. My bridgeorama will now be competing against reps from 900 plus cities from around the world. I’ve flipped through the other winners and there is really some amazing photographs in the mix. I’ve also entered 3 pics into Holgapalooza. With a name like that I couldn’t not enter. I have a pretty good selection of photos so I might as well submit them. I’m really hoping to see some colorful sunsets on the lake next week. I want to see how holgas would turn out.
