A Crymson Life

thanksgiving success

Two and a half days of hosting and feasting with family are a complete success.  Our turkey dinner turned out amazing and we’re planning on living on left overs for the rest of the weekend.  Now we are lazily playing video games, while the kitties nap.  And that’s basically what we have planned for the next two days….recuperating and relaxing.  Also a success was last weekend’s 8x8.  We could definitely see the effects of the economy on the sale.  It took a lot longer for the walls to empty, but there was some really great work up for sale.  We didn’t stick around long enough to see if my piece sold and at what price.  Instead we choose to go get milkshakes and catch up with a good friend we hadn’t seen in a while.  But the facebook posting from the Art Guild said they had a record attendance and that the sale was a success.  Hopefully the pictures turned out ok, if so I’ll post a pic of my piece.

We had a great time! Thanks for hosting and being willing to take care of our misbehaved cat for a week!
