happy new year

We rung in the New Year weekend by spending time with friends and family.  Today the last day of the weekend we spent just the two of us.  Went out to watch to the first half of the Bears game, which was the last game of the season.  Cleaned up around the house, put away the Christmas decorations.  And now I’m crocheting the a baby blanket (pics this week), and Chris is experimenting recording with a new program.  It’s hard switching programs, it takes time and patience.  But he’s hard at work and I’m enjoying listening to him play again.  Seeing him play reminded me that I hadn’t posted pics of his preChristmas gig/show he played with some buds.  Seems like this might become an annual thing where he plays a Christmas party with his friends and family.  It was awesome to see him in front of a crowd again.  It’s crazy how he and bassist Jon, and drummer Scott, even after months/a year of not playing together fall back into sync with each other.  Quite amazing to watch.  This time Theresa sang some vocals which was very awesome.  If they get some real practice time in all together next year it will blow this year out of the park.  Pics are courtesy of Theresa since I forgot my camera.
