A Crymson Life

proof

Since I don’t yet have any pictures of finished flowers here is proof I actually did some beading over the weekend. Here is a picture of a small table in my living room. I’ve taken it over as my beading table at the moment. Cue Chris rolling his eyes! =) I tend to take over everything when I’m beading. My family likes to say “I spread out.” I can’t help it though, its just the way I work. This is a relatively tame version of me spreading out. I finished the petals to a flower that you can see stuck in a glass next to another flower. On the table are the petals to the flower I’m working on now. I really like it, but something seems off. So I’ve slowed down my process to try and figure out what needs to change. There are also some pink petals on the table that I’m working on too. This one is also taking a bit longer because I’m having to think out the design more than I expected. I think once it’s finished it’ll be worth the time put into it. The white hank of beads is for an idea for a fifth flower, that has not been started yet. I have lots to do, and I’m hoping to have some time to work on them this week.

Take everything over!!! Isn’t it the best purpose for furnitures to serve for beadwork? I have taken over a small moveable occasional table. It is really good but I don’t know where to put all the magazines that usually lie upon it ... wink

What do you plan to make next??

All furniture in our house is fair game to me taking it over with beads.  Last week Chris was playing football in the front room so I went into the bed room and filled the bed with beads!  haha.  I know I really need to get the bead room organized.

Right now I’m really enjoying making single flowers.  I like adding the small details to the centers and petals that make the bigger ones special.
