A Crymson Life

progress report

It’s become almost annoying to me that I haven’t put up any new flower pics in a long time.  I know that’s my own fault and I’m working on it.  I blame Miranda not being here to tell me to finish what I’ve started!  Thats right I know you read this!  tongue wink

Last night I spent some time working on two flowers.  The only reason I worked on two is because one involved lots of wire wrapping and my fingers would get really sore.  So I worked on another flower until I could feel my finger tips again, then I’d go back to wrapping.  Right now my little table that I showed a few days ago has the two flowers with all the petals finished in the same glass.  Another flower has joined it, I’m trying to decide if it has enough petals and if the center is right.  Now it has petals and wire for wrapping one flower.  And then the petals for the second flower I worked on last night.  Thats five flowers that will be single flowers in the making just on that small table.  Then in the bead room I was looking over my stash and found possiblities for a couple smaller flower bouquets.  What I really need to do is get the greens out and start making leaves so I can maybe finish something.  But colors are calling to me right now and I feel like I should listen.  We’ll see.  I really want to be able to work with colors and petals on vacation.  So I need to finish a good handful of these half done flowers by then, or at least thats my goal right now.
Tonight is another preseason Bears game.  Chris and I are hoping to watch it and I’ll be making petals and wrapping wire during the game too.  I don’t think I’ll be able to get much done this weekend.  Chris is playing guitar in our friend’s wedding on Saturday, so Friday night is the rehersal, and then Saturday is the wedding.  And we had planned on buying and installing some closet hardware.

Have fun at the wedding. That’s cool that Chris is playing guitar there. Is ist a Metal-Wedding? wink

nope its not a metal-wedding.  He’s actually playing an acoustic guitar and playing a very traditional song for the bridal recession.  should be fun!  grin
