A Crymson Life

leaves

Here’s the pile of leaves that I’ve made so far and my little bead helper doing what he does best.  I need a couple more leaves and that will complete the pile for the new bouquet pictured a couple days ago.  Then while the green beads are out I plan on making some leaves for some individual flowers I’ve made but haven’t showed yet.
This weekend is the Peoria Art Fair that I look forward to every year.  We plan on going early Saturday morning to try and beat some of the crowds.  I’m hoping to find another piece of art to buy.  Last year we bought a stained glass piece using mirror pieces.  It’s hanging in our front room.  We’ve been talking about making the basement into a bar area so a cool piece fit for a bar would be perfect.  Plus I enjoy seeing some of the returning artists.  And of course to see if anyone is selling any bead work.

Mmmh, yummy leaves, especially the two-coloured ones on the right. I can’t believe that this Art Fair was already one year ago. I remember the stained glass piece you bought then. I am excited what you will buy this time!
