change on the way

Any readers left may have noticed a distinct lack of beadwork being produced in the last six months, and even sporadic posting in the past three months. Personally and professionally I’ve been slowly making changes over the last two years. Although they felt big at the time, in hind sight they are and were quite small. Now Chris and I have a huge change approaching in a few months. We are expecting a baby in late May!!! And we are both thrilled. Well beyond thrilled. grin

Lack of posting is mostly due to my not feeling all that great I didn’t want this blog to turn into a morning-sickness-sucks-fest. Lack of beadwork in the past recent months has been mostly due to the rock quilt I started in September. I don’t want to quit beading, and I don’t plan to quit. But I am going to take a small break from it for a while. The yarn bug is nipping at me to finish the rock quilt so I can crochet something fun. I am in the process of consolidating and moving the bead room to become a bead closet and perhaps making a metal area in the garage. The reorganization of the bead room is bringing back some bead urges that I’m slowly looking into. They are much smaller projects working w/ looms or need and thread. Wire around the house right now makes me nervous. Change is good, and I’m super excited for all sorts of change right now. I plan to keep blogging but it will be mostly kept to my creative endeavors. And perhaps some Lost blogging. I’m thinking about rewatching the seasons of Lost to see what I may have missed and what could have been ah ha moments w/ hind sight. We’ll see if there are enough hours in the day.
