A Crymson Life

count down

Christmas is now over and the countdown to the new year has begun. It’s hard to believe there are only three and a half days left of 2007. It feels wrong to say but I am actually glad that 07 is just about over. It was a weird difficult year that only made me stronger. The last couple days I’ve been thinking about what new goals to set for myself. I have a long list, and I really need to prioritise. I’m working on that. I received a couple more tools to use in metal working, and I’ve been doing lots of research to see what other supplies I need to get before getting really started. I’m also trying to keep in mind that I think I want this new metal thing to be a lower priority than my flowers. Although, I’m not 100% yet. I think I really need to write it all down and draw out a map! =)
Chris and I have been talking about what we want to do for vacation this year. Right now we’re thinking several smaller trips, long weekend etc. We want to really do some hiking this year. We had so much fun hiking up to the Chimneys in the Smokey Mountains, as well as the hike in Montana a couple years ago. We’re always talking about them. IL doesn’t quite have those sorts of hikes anywhere close, but there’s gotta be something fun to hike around. Our thought process on this is that several smaller trips would give us more to look forward to during the year. It’s hard to get through work with out a trip to plan or look forward to.

Guten Rutsch ins Neue Jahr! smile

That is the German New Year’s greeting which means that you should “get into” (better: “slide into” which is “rutschen/Rutsch”) the New Year well. smile))
