flower clips

Last Christmas I came up with this idea for a more functional use of single flowers.  The flowers are connected to a clip that makes them perfect for ornaments or decorations.  They also look spectacular on lap shades and bring color and cheeriness to an office.  I’m finding that lately I enjoy making smaller projects.  It satisfies my color binge urges.  Although I didn’t sell any of these at the show I think they will do better closer to Christmas.  I’m hoping to have them available at the Peoria Art Guild this holiday season.

This week I’ve spent my free time doing two things, organizing and photoshopping pictures and out side prepping out deck for staining.  Today we finished the prep work on the deck and we hope to apply stain when ever it quits raining.  I’ll be posting new finished pieces very soon and will be updating the gallery with these new pieces.  I have also finished going through the digital photos from California.  This weekend I’ll start scanning the Holgas.  Keep checking back for updates.
