holga help and fun

First the fun…

Number 14 on my list of 29 plus 1 things is to participate in a photo challenge.  I’ve been keeping my eye open for one that seems fun and reasonable.  I’m not sure I can complete a photo a day type challenge. This one is a challenge I’ve done before, although several years ago.  It’s called 26 things and you get a month to take a photograph of of each of those things, be it a literal or symbolic interpretation.  This challenge started Nov 1st so I’m a little late discovering it and starting.  Between that and the holidays coming up I’m giving myself until the new year to complete the challenge.  This will make it less stressful and more fun.  What I would really like to do is complete the challenge using my film cameras…holga or my blue slim.  This could prove too difficult but I’m gonna try and make the majority of the photos come from one of those cameras.  Wish me luck!

I saw an advertisement on a blog I follow for a call for entries for the TCC Photo|Gallery.  It’s called Holga Out of the Box International Exhibition.  The “out of the box” refers to creativity and not holga camera modifications.  It’s seems like a high end competition but I’m still throwing around the idea of entering.  You enter 5 images in one shot. I need to pick my 5 best holga images.  This is where I need help.  I have a lot of favorites, and some I know would make the top 5 while others I can back and forth on for ages.  Below are a list of my fave holga pics from my flicker account.  Which top 5 are your favorites that you think I should enter???
