B> one of my fave people shots from two weeks ago at the Bears/Packers game
B> at first I wasn’t real happy with the results of my photos and then I started cropping.  there were better results that just needed trimming
B> despite being a Bears fan I will be routing for the Packers this weekend
B> today is our third snow day, the roads are apparently not very good out there
B> we got over a foot of snow this week, people to the north got close to two, I heard rumor of more early next week
B> might start to get a little cabin fever, but its frigid cold out there
B> been spending free moments crocheting my afghan, I started the third block
B> I’m officially signed up to take beginners knitting on Saturday, I get to make a scarf or kitchen towel
B> I’m hoping to get the basics down so that I can try this scarf pattern, looks hard but I think if I get this down I’ll be set
B> I’m also loving these potholders…they do a swap.  I just want to make my own though…some of the complicated ones I need a pattern for.
B> I would need cotton yarn for the potholders though, don’t have any of that on hand
B> I am headed to a yarn shop this weekend though….
B> made vanilla sugar w/ vanilla beans last week
B> now I put a little in my coffee and it has this slightly wonderful vanillay taste and little black flecks floating in my coffee.  divine.
B> going to make my own vanilla extract soon, I’m excited
B> did some cooking this weekend
B> decided if I had a cooking show I’d call it “cooking in my pajamas”
B> made the meatballs in tomato caper sauce…they were ok
B> made fish tacos…these were good and would make them again
B> made cranberry orange scones….I messed this up, not very scone like but still yummy
B> made maple bacon popcorn….yummy but definitely a treat
B> made my version of bacon egg and cheese biscuit…was way better than mcdonalds
B> tonight its fancy cheeseburgers
