A Crymson Life

my afghan progress

This is a post that I’ve been meaning to post for months now.  This is the afghan I have going right now, a crochet pattern for a baby blanket I found here.  I love this pattern, and I love the Noro yarn it calls for and how the different combos keep my interest.  In fact I plan to make it an adult afghan and not for the baby.  R won’t mind, he has lots of blankets, and I’ll share.  Plus at the rate I’m going with it, it won’t be done until he goes to college.  Or is at least too cool for handmade blankets from mom.  I took these pics back in Sept and I have only picked it up once since.  So the current status is all of two rows more on the half block.  But I was working on the lil stockings.  Now that I have about 3 of those complete, and still not sure if I’ll give them away for Christmas, any crochet time I get now will be dedicated to this.

Can’t wait to see what colurs will show up during process and how the colour changes will appear! An adult afghan is a great idea!
