New Year
Happy 2008!
The New Year is here, and hooray! We ended 07 really well actually. We had tickets to the Colts game on Sunday, so we drove out to Indianapolis for the night. That was a fun time, I’d never been to a pro football game before. It was a sensory overload, lots of bright lights, nonstop noise, we were really squished in tight on benches, and everything smelled like beer and junk food. But it was fun. Next year we want to go to a Bears game. For New Years Eve we had dinner with a group of friends. It was a nice laid back evening. We left around 11 and got home in time to see the ball drop.
I don’t really want to do resolutions, in fact its been a few years since I have. I like to make goals, and I started setting goals a few weeks ago. My number one goal right now is to try and stay away from the negative. I know it’s impossible to completely cut it out of my life. But I think there are definitely ways I can trim a lot of it out. And thats what I want to work on. Beads and flowers are also high on the list, and next is learning and playing with metal. I recieved a torch and some tools (more on that in another post) and I want to play with them. Chris has also recently expressed some interest in metal work. This will be great b/c I think we could feed on eachothers creativity and become more productive. Other goals are more house related or personal. There are many though, I wrote out a list and it was long!

I think making resolutions every year is silly. I make a resolution each year to not make resolutions.
Setting goals is a great idea however and I hope you meet every one of them.
