A Crymson Life

Peoria Photo Walk

Saturday was the first Peoria Photo Walk, Peoria’s extension of Scott Kelby’s WorldWide photo walk.  Basically its a great excuse to get together with other local photographers to socialize and take pictures.  Our trusty organizer mapped out a 45 min walk around down town Peoria for us to follow.  It was a 45min walk w/out stops.  It took a little over 2 hours for most since we would stop for pictures.

Mom and Dad came down to participate with us as well as celebrate early birthdays.  The weather was cool and perfect.  We had big fluffy white clouds, bright blue skies, and lovely temps.  I took some digital and mostly holga.  I’m thrilled with how several of my holga turned out.  I’m still having way more fun w/ the holga than with my digital.  I still like to play and pretend I know what I’m doing w/ the digitals.  I just don’t get the fun excitement when looking at the pics as I do w/ the holga.  Maybe it’s the wait time while the film is developing.  =)  Anyway Crymson Eye is updated with Peoria walk pics holga and digital.  I’m currently working on holga Cali pics.  They’ll be up shortly.  Mom’s pics are up on her site, she used her digital and her lomo.
