pondering

A week ago at this time we had just finished climbing huge sand dunes and were on our way to the beach to cool off.  We both decided to nix the sun screen and both ended up with sun burns. 

A year ago at this time we were driving East from California on our way to the Tetons.  That night we met a fellow sports fan who also was a research tech who did molecular biology like us.  He was planning to go back to school to study zoology.  Not sure what happened to him but it was a fun night chatting and drinking beer around the campfire.

I wonder what we’ll be doing at this time next year?
