A Crymson Life

spookin it up

Here are this years spooky pumpkins.  Saturday we went out and got our pumpkins, then went to our local watering hole for dinner.  During dinner we both doodled faces for our pumpkins.  We had a lot of ideas this year, and this is how they turned out.  I even cleaned up the seeds and baked them, so I’m actually chomping on pumpkin seeds right now!  Sunday we went out to the halloween stores and bought a couple decorations for our house.  We’re expecting trick or treaters this year for the first time, so we want our house to look a little scary.  We have a glowly skull, and some grave stones in the front yard.  I also have a black cat and some rats in the window.  Plus we’ll have the pumpkins looking out the front window.  Hopefully we’ll get some kids stopping by b/c I keep eating all the candy we bought for them.

Those are cool!! We had a ton of trick or treaters on Sunday. We had to run to the store and pick up more candy. So there were 7 bags total!

Ha, ha! I bet the right one is Chris’ pumpkin ... (?) Halloween is becoming more and more popular in Germany, too. A few kids try to trick or treat as well. But hey, I don’t think that it belongs here. So I will refuse it as every year. smile However, those pumpkins could almost change my mind ...
