A Crymson Life

what month is it?

What is going on? Is Mother Nature acting up or is she succumbing to global warming? Either way I’m all messed up. Yesterday was a high temperature of 65, breaking the record of 63. Today it’s supposed to get up to 67 and rain. It smells like rain, it smells like spring. The fresh clean warm wet air put me in the mood to do yard work. Lotta good that would do since it’s supposed to get back down to the 30’s this coming weekend and snow a bit. I did enjoy the warm weather, as bizarre as it was. And the consequence will be a prolonged winter into the spring months and I’ll be wishing I did my yard work in January b/c it’ll be too cold in April!
The warmer weather melted all the snow and I actually saw green grass underneath. The appearance of color sorta put me off my path for my winter/grey bouquet. I spent a good majority of yesterday beading, but could not get into the grey mood. That got put on hold, and I fell into a groove of color. I have a very exciting pink flower that is almost done. And three bouquets in the works. I beaded up all the petals and even laced up the majority of them. I’m very excited. This week will be busy, but in the down times I will finish lacing and break out the greens for some leaves. So in the next week or so I’ll have some new pieces to show.

It’s wacky weather all over the place.  It is really disconcerting.

I can’t wait to see your new pieces!
