Brilliance in the Dark

A single ornate flower wrapped in the protection of the large leaves around it.  This flower came from the secret garden in my imagination.  In the wild it would grow in the deepest darkest forest symbiotically on the ancient oak trees.  It would bloom only twice a year during the most silent of nights.  Here it has been picked and planted in a wooden bowl for everyone to enjoy.
